"I love my belly band holster, I have actually gotten quite used to it. In fact, I wear it every day, all day, and I have chosen to use it instead of the many other holsters I have for concealment. I find it to be very comfortable and there is nothing pulling on my pants when I wear it. I can wear it as low or as high as I feel comfortable and in just about any position, from strong side, to appendix, to cross draw or any place in between. I especially like that I can just very easily move it around my waist for cross draw while I am driving. To me, the 5 inch width seems to be just perfect and although I may not be carrying my full size Beretta 92, I am carrying my Glock 19 for every day carry and if it gets uncomfortable in any one position, all I have to do is move it just a bit and it's like starting fresh. "Dear Rick & Brett : During my younger life, and since my adult life, I have been associated with guns; both pistols and long guns. Since I was six years old, growing up on the river in Elkview,West Virginia, I have owned,fired and plinked and hunted with 7-10 different pistols,22-44 mag, scoped and iron sights. With alot of range time and times hunted in the woods, I didnt really think I needed additional range time for the renewal process of my CPL license. I have been through the class several times, with different instructors, since having my CCW for the last 32 years. Hence, CCW is now CPL. I was blown away by the knowledge that you two men have been able to put together in a four hour recertification class. Rick, you know all the right bits of information and have the ability to convey this to the people taking the class. Brett, with you being a police officer, you really know the laws of the State of Michigan. If anybody wants to get intense training and certification for their CPL licensing, your class is the class to take! I thought I knew everything on the handling and fundamentals of semi-automatic handguns. That is, until I met Rick. He is good; I mean really good. Although legally I did not have to take this class, I am glad I did. Lastly, Brett, you answered all my questions on Open Carry in the State of Michigan. Now I have a true understandin of the laws.
