This entry level course will cover gear placement, AR-15 nomenclature, sight adjustment/sight alignment, the use of ironsights and co-witnessing with red dot or holographic sights. There are a large amount of AR-15 accessories on the market,we will discuss the different weapon sighting systems available for your carbine and demonstrate them to you. The class continues with Marksmanship from the prone, sitting, kneeling, and standing positions. Close range shooting, point of aim point of impact, administrative load, speed re-load and the tactical re-load. Clearing stoppages like the double feed, stove pipe and other weapon malfunctions. This class is designed to provide active demonstrations and active participation by the student. Each learning module is a building block for the next level. The second half of the class is designed to test your knowledge and ability by applying your knowledge to work you through the elevated stress levels of the numerous scenarios that you will encounter on our range.

This course is designed to allow an alternative to the CPL holder and civilian who may be limited by Michigan Law as to what they are allowed to carry to defend themselves based upon certain circumstances and location limitations. This class is not limited to the Michigan CPL holder but also to the private citizen who does not wish to carry a concealed pistol but would feel safer with the legal carry of pepper spray. This course will familiarize each student with the differences between MACE and Pepper Spray as well as the expectative effects that Pepper Spray has on an attacker in addition to your own personal decontamination. This course will also define the legal definition of Pepper Spray and the amount a Michigan citizen is allowed to carry under Michigan Law.

The student will become familiar with the laws of the use of Pepper Spray in Michigan and under what circumstances Pepper Spray is acceptable for use as a personal defense. This class is a scenario based curriculum that involves the student and instructor in an experience that will enhance your personal protection and confidence where your firearm is not justified or allowed. Counter Carjacking Defense Class Single Technique Responses for Multiple Situations STRMS May 16th, 2010 This course will cover a vast array of scenarios. The subject in these scenarios could be approaching the vehicle, entering the vehicle, seated in the vehicle. Multiple attacker application and verbal commands will also be covered during this course. A persons safety, technical retention & success greatly increase by learning a single technique that can be used against a non-compliant subject in multiple situations to get that subject to a controlled position. Equipment needed: Loose fitting clothes. In this class you will be introduced to many defensive training concepts on the firing line and personal protection techniques. Taking this private class will gain you much more one on one personal firearms training than can possibly be done with a large class. You or your group will not need to have a deep knowledge and understanding of firearms training to join. We offer a full money back guarantee if not satisfied. CPL II is designed to begin on the range where the student left off at the CPL certification course. There is much to learn about firearms tactics and concealed carry and only a fraction of which is covered in the initial CPL Class. This class is 4 hours + The student will report directly to the classroom for a safety brief and then to the range where the student will cover advanced concealed carry exercises: 1. Shooting from concealment, jackets, tshirts. 2. Shooting from behind cover/concealment. 3. Scenario based shooting exercises. 4. Shooting on the move, move to cover, re-load,engage 5. Threat/No Threat assessment 6. Alternative defense techniques/Shoot This is only a fraction of what is covered in the time allotted. Class sizes are kept small to keep the instructor student ratio effective and the learning environment exceptional. Course length: 1 day 8 to 10 hours depending on class size. This is the class YOU need to get your Michigan concealed pistol license. Students with minimum handgun experience welcome. Course work is both in the class room instruction and on the firing range. This is an interactive course where students are engaged with the instructors and are encouraged to ask questions. Course material starts with safety rules and then progresses to fundamentals of defensive pistol shooting. We do class room practice on safety and shooting positions. Course includes discussions on ammunition, pistol cleaning, storage, child safety, and further training possibilities. This course will qualify you to apply for a Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL) some times referred to as CCW. It includes the following subjects: firearms and the law, including civil liability, avoiding criminal attack, controlling violent confrontations and laws that apply to carrying a concealed pistol in the state of Michigan.
